Getting Started

Welcome to the Biology Subject Guide! Use the tabs on this guide to find journals and journal articles, books, and media related to biology, as well as other tools.

The research process can be a winding road, but I am here to help. The hardest step can be to define your topic. It can help to look over some background information on a subject to narrow your topic.

Once you've got your topic down, you need to find some sources. Often in the sciences, you are most interested in current research. The "Journals & Articles" tab can guide you through finding your starting sources.

Use the resources on this guide as a starting place for your research and do not hesistate to contact me with any questions. I am here to make your research a more painless process!
