About the Mosaic

Looking for a way for your club or organization to leave a mark on campus?

We are looking for student organizations to help create a diversity mosaic for Rose Library.

Your group can design and build a piece of the mosaic to reflect the diversity of James Madison University.

No experience needed, join us at one of our workshops to be held at Rose Library, and learn everything you need to know to make a beautiful tile to be part of  the Library's mosaic.

All groups are welcome, but please RSVP to rose-library@jmu.edu

About the Artist

Sarah Swanlund has been making mosaics for ten years.  She has previously created mosaics for Clemons Library at UVa and Jefferson Madison Regional Library.  The mosaic for Rose Library will be one of the largest pieces she's ever done.
