Proposals are now being accepted for Open Course Grants (formerly Course Redesign Grants). These grants empower faculty with the resources and time they need to redesign courses by swapping out commercial textbooks and other expensive course materials for open, no-cost, or library options. Full or part-time faculty may apply. Applications are due February 23, 2021, and award notification will occur on May 14, 2021. Learn more online or contact vivaopen@gmu.edu with questions about this program, which is run by VIVA, Virginia’s Academic Library Consortium.
