Skin of color is defined in relation to less pigmented skin. The JMU nursing undergraduate program adopted the Fitzpatrick phototypes scale and uses that terminology. This guide provides access to books that address and show images of patients with skin of color. Resources with more inclusive representation will help in diagnosis and treatment
