Guide to Hybrid & Online Learning at JMU

Get started or get help Use Canvas, Webex, or Respondus Lockdown Browser Work in groups Give presentations

It may feel daunting to switch to learning in an online or hybrid (partly online, partly in-person) environment. We at JMU Libraries are here to help you. Take a deep breath and remember to:

  • Be kind to yourself and others. None of us has been in this situation before, but we’ll get through it together.
  • Let your professors know what help you might need right now, and not just for learning online.

Please see this Libraries news item for additional resources we are providing. Consult JMU’s COVID-19 FAQ and Academic Affairs' COVID-19 Information for up-to-date campus information. We will continue to update this guide as more information becomes available.
