Search term development
- use broad terms and concepts
- instead of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) --> health care reform, insurance mandate
- use synonyms or related concepts
- managed care organization --> health maintenance organization (HMO), preferred provider organization (PPO)
- use thesauri or dictionaries to help you discover other related terms
