New & Noteworthy

VIVA Open Course Grants 

Are you concerned about the high cost of textbooks for your students? Open or no-cost materials offer an alternative to traditional textbooks and allow instructors to customize, save, and share course materials for free.

Request for Proposals

Proposals are now being accepted for VIVA Open Course Grants. For the first time, grants will be awarded in four categories, one of a number of exciting changes (detailed below) to the VIVA Open Grant programs. Those categories include:

  • Content Creation Grants
  • Open Pedagogy Grants
  • Open Ancillary Grants
  • Large Scale Adoption Grants

Applications are due March 6, 2023.
