⚠️ SPSS shortage crisis -- RESOLVED!

• We were able to get a new pack of SPSS licenses, so please refer users to the download guide like normal (tell them to Google "JMU SPSS" for the login form, sign in, and follow the download instructions there)

⚠️ NEW -- Bubble Sheet @ JMU

• JMU has introduced a new and improved test-scoring system called Bubble Sheet, which will replace the university’s Scantron system; the transition to Bubble Sheet will be fully completed by May 20, 2025
• Help & Support via the Libraries
  • direct users to the LID Desk either by phone (give them the Canvas ext.) or by email at LIDdesk@jmu.edu
  • Googling for "Bubble Sheet JMU" will bring up the overview that users can be referred to
    • includes all relevant information on what it is, how to set it up, how to use it, how to get help for it

• announced April 9, 2025, Overleaf is JMU's new cloud-based writing platform for scientific and technical writing
• refer users to the Overleaf @ JMU overview here; consultation form linked at the end
