Accessing Items @ The Hub

Library materials formerly housed in Carrier Library are currently being stored in the Hub (big white dome tent on main campus by Hillside); the Hub is currently closed to all JMU students, faculty, and staff; only designated JMU Libraries staff may enter the Hub at this time

  • Items at the Hub are still accessible for users to request via their online JMU Libraries account
    • If an item in the library catalog displays "On-Campus Storage" for availability, this means the item is at the Hub
    • Users can sign in to their online JMU Libraries account and request the item for pick up at any library location (Rose & Express will be the most accessible)
    • Users will be notified via email when their item is ready for pick up at their desired location

Any questions, issues (availability, stalled request, account issue, etc.), or concerns with requesting items from the Hub should be directed to askthelibrary@jmu.edu for Access & Delivery staff to follow up on
