Regular Circulating Items (books, DVDs, etc.)
- items can be returned in person at Rose Library, JMU Libraries Express, the Music Library, or at ETMC in Memorial Hall
- items can be returned at either of our two drive up book drops at Rose Library or JMU Libraries Express:
- Rose Library: book drop located on Alumni Drive next to Rose Library on East Campus
- Express: book drop located near the back of the building in Parking Lot K (1050 South Main Street)
Interlibrary Loan Items
- Interlibrary Loan items can be returned in person at any service desk or at either book drop location as well
Equipment Loans
- Equipment loans should be encouraged to be returned in person at the equipment loans desk in Rose Library during their regular operating hours of M-F 8-5
- after hours returns can be given to LIS desk staff at either Rose Library or JMU Libraries Express, but items WILL NOT be fully checked in until the next day by equipment loan staff
- Equipment loan items CANNOT be returned by book drop, they MUST be returned in person
- additionally, equipment loans CANNOT be returned at the Music Library or ETMC locations
