Embedding in Canvas

Off-campus users that log in via OpenAthens may have trouble viewing videos embedded via an iframe in Canvas.

TIP: When this happens, students can:

  1. right click and open the content in a new window, find the institutional login option and login,
  2. login to the resource externally before clicking on the embedded content, or
  3. use Pulse Secure (find download instructions here) instead of OpenAthens.
