Submit Course Reading List To Library

Submit List To Library

When you are ready for library staff to begin processing your list (course reserve requests, purchasing, and testing links), you must click on the "Submit List to Library" button on your Course Reading List to notify them to start working on it. You must "Submit List to Library" again if you continue adding citations or library staff won't be notified of the new citations.

Submit List to Library is important for a few reasons. Once submitted, the Library can:

  • Review the items in your list and verify that students have access to the library-owned items
  • Process the physical items on your list tagged for course reserve or special loan periods
  • Purchase a copy of a physical item for course reserve

To submit your list to the Library for review click on the SUBMIT LIST TO LIBRARY button.

You will then see a confirmation message pop-up on your screen confirming your list was submitted.

Publish Your Course Reading List

Publish the List for Students to Have Access

Your list isn't visible to students until it is changed from Draft to Published.  Feel free to change this setting yourself. Select the ellipsis on the top banner of your Course Reading List, find the Publish option, and select. When the library staff is finished processing your list, they will check to see if it is Published.  If it isn't, they will change it from Draft to Published.  If you would prefer it not be Published, you can change it back to Draft or let staff know you don't want it published when you send it.  Visibility can also be managed with Start and End Dates.
