LIS Virtual Services Guide: Equipment Loans

MON-FRI 8-5:30 | SAT/SUN CLOSED

• Equipment is available on a first come, first served basis OR by reservation (form found online)
• Equipment CANNOT be picked up at any other library location, MUST be picked up in person at the equipment loans desk located on the first floor of Rose Library by the Makery

• Equipment Loans/LID desk staff can be reached by phone or email at:

  • 540-568-6799 (press option 3)

• users should be encouraged to return equipment loan items in person at the physical equipment loans desk located on the first floor of Rose Library during their regular operating hours (M-F 8-5:30)
• items being returned after regular operating hours can be given to library desk staff at either Rose Library or JMU Libraries Express
  • inform users these items WILL NOT be checked in until the following day by equipment loan staff
  • we DO NOT know how fines accrue for overdue items and we also CANNOT do anything about returned broken equipment
